SHIBARI STUDIO BERLIN
where Shibari & Kinbaku blend with intention and high-end art creation.
This is a creative and intimate space founded in early 2024 by multidisciplinary artist Dan Carabas. It is a place where rope, touch, and art meet — a studio for learning, exploration, and visual storytelling.
At the heart of the studio are our Tantric-Shibari workshops — a unique blend of Shibari and Tantric practice designed to deepen connection, presence, and trust between romantic partners, playing with polarity, surrender, and intimacy. These guided sessions focus on presence, intention, and body awareness, offering a grounded approach to intimacy through ropes.
Beyond our group workshops, the studio hosts private tuitions & sessions as well as artistic photo and film productions, creating sculptural, high-end imagery for individuals and couples.
Shibari Studio Berlin is also home to an evolving ”Shibari Gallery” and the “Tension & Trust” – Shibari Studio Berlin Journal, where we dive into the worlds of Shibari: personal reflections, behind-the-scenes notes from shootings and workshops, and a visual journey through fine art photography and film. – It’s a living archive of experiences, aesthetics and ideas.
We explore desire, control, surrender, and connection through ropes, playing with a strong sense of polarity and intimacy. Every session is an invitation to dive deep into the intimate language of Shibari and Kinbaku.
